                                            SO LETS GO RIDING

Saturday September 1st—— 11th Birthday and Reunion Celebration

In July 2007 (11 years ago ) a group of Motor Scooter owners and riders met at Hungry Jacks West Gosford  with the express intention of forming a group to go riding together

The club /group expanded to the point where at one stage there were 37 members.

Throughout those 11 years riders have come and gone and rides to just about every part of the Central Coast have been undertaken

From our 1st Birthday meet at Henry Kendall cottage we have ridden out  to Denman, Blue Mountains ,Hunter Valley ,Port Stephens Watsons Bay and even Cessnock Jail

We even held a Motor Scooter exhibition on the Gosford  Waterfront plus dinners at the Entrance Hotel ,,Mingarra Club plus barbecues and luncheons at other various locations

Many happy and wonderful rides have taken place ,all with great mateship  to our fellow riders  and thankfully never a major accident

These days the group /club is just a shadow of it’s former past  with dwindling riders due to health and other commitments in their life

So on the Saturday 1st September at approx 1PM at Hungrys West Gosford  we invite you to join us for a celebration of 11years and a reunion of past riders and members

Just a couple of hours to reunite with some of the riders you may or may not

Hoping to see you on the 1st SEPTEMBER

Past and present members of the Central Coast Scooter club gathered at Hungry Jacks West Gosford to say FAREWELL to the club as we know it

19 faces –Peter Adderley and Peter Buckland ,Lew Hutchinson ,Gary Vandersluis, Brian Cook and Anne, Ian Hill rode over from Bathurst ,Mike and Rita Riley ,Jeremy and Laura.Rees ,Phil Mellis ,Rudi,,Don Cabban ,Nelson And Hal Colebatch ,Carl from Revesby plus my wife and self We gathered around 1pm some coming on scooters and motorbikes

Hungry Jacks had supplied FREE vouchers for a cheeseburger and coffee so we all had something to eat

After some speeches by myself and our sponsor Phil Mellis it wasdecide that those on 2 wheels might like to take off down to the Peninsula for a short ride

The gathering wound up at Approx 2,15 pm and farewells were said to many as we departed our different ways

Sadly there is no plan or no one to carry on the organising of the club
